Hi! Thank you for taking the time to check out my website. This is my about page so I guess I'll be talking about myself. My name is Aoife (pronouced ee-fa). Actualy Aoife is my middle name but close enough. With my photos, I intend to capture little things you can't take home and put on the kitchen table. A grassy lot dotted with dandelions is a lovely thing, and while you can pick a couple to put in a vase on the shelf, you would be unable to take the field with you. You can't bring home the long shadows or the distant sunrise. I wish we could, but we can't. I've got the next best thing! Yay photography, right? I really hope you can find in my galleries the little scenes you can't fold into your pocket. So, I guess my goal with this whole thing is to capture the feeling of looking up at a purple sky just because it's beautiful, just because it's there, just because you're outside and you've never felt so small.
